How To Get Rid of Beard Dandruff

Men with beards often face the challenge of dealing with beard dandruff every once in a while. Those hideous flaky skin situated at the skin beneath your beard is caused by a yeast-like fungus called malassezia. When this yeast multiple, they end up irritating the scalp and eat up the proteins of the skin which results into having skin cells die and peel off from the skin down to your beard.

3.) Rinse your beard hair well after each and every shampoo to ensure that no beard wash or anti-dandruff residues are left behind. These impurities aggravate the fungi and invite bacteria from growing on your skin which causes inevitable dandruff havoc.
4.) Tweak your diet and consume foods that contain vitamin B and anti-oxidants for they are found to be effective in clearing up any dandruff situation in the body.
5.) Stress is another reason behind dandruff development. Avoid the common stressors in life or at least learn to cope with them. Get enough sleep, engage in routine exercise and have a green diet.
6.) For those who want to treat their beard dandruff the natural way, simple apply neem oil to the skin beneath the beard and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before washing. This essential oil is found to be very helpful in eliminating the fungi that causes dandruff.
